If you were an RN and are a tech writer, I recommend that you look into
software companies that create products for the healthcare industry.
You may notice from my signature that I work at such a company. As my
background is IT, not nursing (or another healthcare profession) I work
closely with former nurses and pharmacists at my company; a former RN would
be really great for the documentation area. Other healthcare software
companies may feel the same.
