I'm in process of revising mine right now after having it reviewed by my
manager. Around here is basically supposed to answer the questions "where
do you see yourself in X number of years?" and "how do you plan to get
there?".
Like someone else has already pointed out, it's a good way to draw
management's attention to training you want to take.

Subject: Personal development plan
I have been asked by my manager to create a personal development plan.
Somehow I do not think "come in, do my job, and leave" will fly. Has
anyone else completed one? What was included? Is there anyone willing to
show me an example? Thanks in advance.
