<<In our products, you can access the PDF from the Help menu. But, if the doc
resides in Start|Programs|<application> then you can open the PDF via a
shortcut without opening the software. Are customers likely to find useful or not the placement of PDFs in such alocation as I describe?>>
Sean, what we have done is create a Table of Contents PDF and have provided our clients with instructions on placing a shortcut to it from the desktop of their PC. Of course, there is no reason why they could not add this shortcut to the Start menu if desired. Clicking on the shortcut will fire up the Adobe Reader (or Acrobat) and this TOC PDF contains links to all of our PDF documentation. From the feedback we have gathered from our clients, they seem to like it.
