say that any reasonably good editor should be an expert at picking nits:
leave them unpicked, and they inevitably mature into something really

And as a mother of children in daycare and elementary school who *has* had
to pick actual nits, I can tell you actual *horror* stories about the
importance of getting rid of all the nits the first time!!!!

I could make an incredible analogy of this!! hmmmm... maybe I will when
time permits, and submit it to Eric for the humor page!! ;-)
