actually, it depends...
* some presentations I went to because they might be useful to me, but weren't
(got a tight development cycle? feed your developers brownies!0
* some I went to 'cuz I recognized the name of the presenter and thought I could
get some applicable information about the skill or methodology or process (hit
and miss results)
* some I went to hoping for clues into TW technology i didn't know, and got a
real Bang for the Buck.
there's a lot of stuff that *sounds* interesting, but doesn't always prove so.
Go for what you think will be good for *you* in *your* situation, and you should
do fine.
and perhaps, if you know another local person going, you can sort of tag team,
and maybe get twice the Bang for the Buck.
