I may be barking up the wrong tree, however, let's try this. If it doesn't
work, e-mail me at work.
1. Save PowerPoint presentation as a Web page.
2. In your source HTML page, where the link to the ppt is located, make sure
your <a href> tag includes the attribute
TARGET="resource window"
to open the ppt presentation in a new browser window. I know this can
irritate some users, but I don't mind it if the author warns me and doesn't
overuse it. The user can then simply close the presentation window, and
still have the source HTML page visible. That might take care of the
Twilight Zone situation.
Have you heard from other listmembers? If so, and you found a more effective
solution than my suggestion, please post it to the list, so it will be in
the archives.
Listmembers, has the attribute changed in HTML 4.0? I may be thinking of
3.2, and thanks!

How do I link an HTML page to a PowerPoint presentation? I have been able to
do it, however, once the presentation begins, it will not let me exit. It's
like the Twilight Zone...
