Right.  There is no marcomwr-l community.  You won't catch many
marcom mavens e-mailing valuable professional advice out into
the public domain.  It's a field where reward is less based on
any provable merit than in technical writing, so the politicking 
is fierce and continuous.  

But I'm sure there are exceptions, of course, and as Brecht said,
sometimes our mission is to redefine the exception as the rule 
and the rule as the exception.
