Depends on whose mistakes.
Knowing when to turn the clock off is always a problem. I think it is a
judgment call for which there are no clear guidelines. The policy may
very well vary with the situation.
I doubt that any client realistically expects a writer to sit down and
start writing first class usable copy from the very first minute.
OTOH, the client is entitled to reasonable production. Just what that
is, I leave to folks smarter than I to write guidelines. I do not begin
to know how to codify such a policy.
