Linking graphics in Powerpoint presentations - a dream?
Subject:Linking graphics in Powerpoint presentations - a dream? From:"Tybi Kapiloff" <teknicol -at- inter -dot- net -dot- il> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Thu, 3 May 2001 23:02:15 +0200
I am creating PowerPoint presentations using PowerPoint 2000 on a Windows
2000 system.
I would like to be able to insert graphics using Insert > Picture > From
File > Insert > Link to file. I tried inserting graphics this way. I then
went back to my graphics program and amended the graphic. No changes were
made to the original graphic in PowerPoint.
I can't update the links either as under Edit, Link is grayed out.
Any help would be very much appreciated as the presentations are very
graphic heavy and I need to keep my work up-to-date as the files are
constantly being reviewed.
If there is no way to link graphics in Powerpoint, is there another program
that you can suggest that can be used for training sessions? I would
obviously require the program to link graphics...
