Hey all, we have been experiencing some PDF to PDF hyperlink issues with
Acrobat 4.05c which may be tied to destination filenames. At one time we
limited the filenames of all of our PDF files to 8 characters maximum with
no spaces or symbols. However, over time, we have strayed from this
informal policy and now some of our PDF filenames are greater than 8
characters with spaces and hyphens.
I was wondering if any of you on the list have adopted policies on PDF (or
other application) filenames that you would be willing to share. In
addition, does anyone know if Adobe has recommendations for length or format
for PDF filenames? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
(By the way, I wanted to post this on the Adobe Users Forum, but the servers
are currently down for maintenance.)
