And if you want to discuss grammar questions, there is a more appropriate
place, the alt.usage.english newsgroup. Of course you should read its FAQ
first and avoid resurrecting questions which have already been discussed to
death. The FAQ URL is an archived post of mine in the recent 'singular they'
thread on this list.
