I'm becoming remarkably prolific here. :) Thanks
for everyone for their previous responses.
I'm trying to fix the MS Word "X of Y" "numpages" field
problem. Yup, I already have the MS Office 2000
Service Release 1, as mentioned in the workaround
here:
At least, when I execute o2kst1a.exe, it returns the
message "You already have Microsoft Office 2000
SR-1".
Yet when I create PDFs from my Word
documents using Distiller, I still get an incorrect
(one less than it should be) result for the "numpages"
field.
Is it possible that I don't have SR-1 installed
after all? Or is that the problem wasn't fixed -
at least, when printing to PDF files?
Thanks,
P.
