Hi, Ashley and Dannette:

In addition to Dannette's soluction for registered, trademark, and other
symbols in FrameMaker, I found another avenue for inserting them into your
FM file. (You may have found this solution already. I was on vacation the
past couple of days.) I have FM 6.0 on Windows 2000.

1. Go to Help > Help Topics.
2. Click the Find tab. In the first option, "1 Type the word(s) you want to
find", type: entering special characters.
3. In the third option, "3 Click a topic, then click Display", you'll see
the topic "Entering special characters". Double-click that topic to display
a long
list of symbols and how to insert them into your FM file.

I printed out the list as I can't remember all of the keystrokes. Hope this
helps!
