Frame 6.0 - inadvertent conversion of cross-refs to text
Subject:Frame 6.0 - inadvertent conversion of cross-refs to text From:"Gilda Spitz" <gspitz -at- longview -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Wed, 25 Jul 2001 10:02:11 -0400
We've had a strange thing happen with some cross-references in Frame
6.0. I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar problem.
We use the cross-reference feature in Frame extensively. There is a way
to convert cross-refs to regular text (by clicking a "Convert to Text"
button) but we never use that feature - we always want to keep them as
links that will update automatically.
But twice in the last couple of months, we've suddenly discovered that
cross-refs have been converted to text, seemingly on their own. The
writer swears that he never clicked the "Convert" button.
Is there some other way that the cross-refs could have been converted to
text? Perhaps some bug in Frame 6.0? Has this ever happened to anyone
else? Thanks in advance.
