Hi All -

File this under "What I Do For Work":

I spent several wonderful days up in St. John's, NB, Canada over the
holiday weekend at a great B&B. On my last morning there, the owner, while
setting up breakfast, asked me the question any person who does what he
does might ask: "So, what is it you do for work over there in Chicago?"

Expecting the usual glazed eyes if I replied with any more detail than, "I
write and edit procedure manuals..." that's what I responded. He
processed that for a second or two and then returned with, "Uh
huh...women's books."

His wife got quite a charge out of that one. So did I. Hope you all will,
too.

- Elizabeth
