RE: techies.com training and Java
I can't remember the publisher, but there's a big red Java book by Ivor
Horton. Really good tool for Java, holds your hand when it needs to without
pandering.
The one I've got is:
Beginning Java 2 (JDK 1.3 Edition)
By Ivor Horton
Published by Wrox Press Limited, reprinted September 2000
ISBN 1-861003-66-8
Haven't read it, though. It was delivered by mistake when I had ordered a book on JavaScript!
