BCL Computers' Drake allows you to convert PDF to RTF for viewing and
editing in Word. BCL Jade allows you to drag-and-drop areas of text,
tables, and graphics from your PDF directly into Word. Free demos of

Legend has it that one can save a PDF file as RTF, and then it's editable in
Word. I just tried it for the first time, and I get almost nothing but
gibberish, e.g.:
