TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Another way to look at this is perhaps to network with writers in your area
who have a workflow with which they are happy. That is, pattern your
workflow and PDFing off a workflow that is successful already, why reinvent
the wheel?
This thread will certainly feature at an informal meeting a bunch of us are
having in Sturbridge, Massachusetts, tomorrow night--as an aside y'all are
welcome, ****contact me off-list**** as I will not respond about this
onlist. I will report back any insights I receive.
Cheers,
Sean
