Not at all, Salette. What I said was that I am sorely tempted to reject a résumé that has NO dates. I think you solution is perfectly appropriate. I'm not interested in divining an applicant's age. But I am interested in longevity at an allegedly permanent job. If I see a bunch of three-month jobs, I start to wonder if it was always the employer's fault. And if I see a complete absence of dates, I start to wonder if the applicant is concealing that sort of job history. That's the only point I was trying to make. I'm not interested in gaps or in ancient history.
