Subject:Text Boxes and TOC's in Word From:"Tara Bowman" <tbowman -at- centergistic -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Tue, 16 Oct 2001 14:40:14 -0700
I am trying to create a table of contents for my Word 2000 doc using the TOC
wizard under the Insert menu. I have applied all the appropriate styles to
my headings and for the most part am getting a decent TOC. The problem is
that the chapter headings were typed into separate text boxes so they could
be placed over a graphic and now the wizard isn't reading them when creating
the TOC. Is there a way to get the wizard to read my chapter headings? (I've
double checked and the correct styles are in place.)
Thanks,
Tara Bowman
