The question wasn't addressed to me, but I want to point out a third
option. At the college I went to, everyone's degree was in "Liberal
Arts with a concentration in ___________" (in my case, English). Was I
an English major or a liberal arts major? Both, really.
We had a distribution requirement that ensured we emerged with a broad
education, whatever our major happened to be. (To satisfy that
requirement, in addition to English I took Latin, biology, sociology,
philosophy, various interdepartmental courses, music, and
badminton...)
Christine
You had a useful major. I have a degree in Anthorpology.
