Aren't we all magic? Beacons of light in an otherwise
unintelligible void? Or have I been hanging out in
college coffee shops too long?
Do process is fairly similar. You write, you review,
you revise, you publish. Some omit steps, some add
steps but eventually you go from write to publish.
As for getting blank stares, who were they from? Other
writers? The doc lead/manager? Or from non-writers in
the company? Anyone related to do c work should know
what's next, even if it's "go on to the next project".
If not, you have a bigger problem on your hands than
finding out what's next.
