In keeping with the creative expression fervor, here is my entry for the
"Tech. Writer" Monologues:
In The Beginning
----------------
I was a humble Sopherim (scribe) in the Roman Empire. Trojan had called upon
Hadrian to find a tradesman worthy of inscribing the fascia of the Pantheon.
Hence, my trusted Stone Mason and I began this arduous and painstaking task.
It was difficult to end the wide strokes of the letters, in granite, without
ghastly blunt lines. If the chisel slipped while squaring off an end, the
error would be permanently etched. The bezeled corners of the letters became
known as finishing strokes, also known as the serif.
