<g> It's news to me that men are a discriminated-against minority in the
field of IT/web design. When did it happen? </g>
(glancing round a room with, at a rough head count, 40 employees, 85% men -
the 15% women include a developer, a technical writer, 3 testers, no
management, no tech support, but both receptionists)

Just for thought...what would be the impact of an organization called
"webguys", whose written and published policy was to not let women
participate (except when they needed to bring a date.), nonprofit or
not...and would that organization be promoted as a resource on this
list knowing that maybe 50% (or more) of the subscribers are women?
