Don't worry about it now. Learn the application. Before you worry
about X platforms, successfuly create a document. Besides..are you
an experienced MAC user? If not, the OS transition will be a much
bigger issue than the application. The application is close enough
Besides...there is more of a chance that you come across the UNIX
version than the MAC.

Windows BY FAR over Mac. I've been an FM user at 4 different gigs and
never came across a MAC version. UNIX...yes, MAC, no.
