Dear tech writers,

Since wiping my machine and installing the Windows 2000 OS (per orders from
my company), I've had a lot of font problems. I eventually managed to fix
all of them but one. FrameMaker 6.0 still gives me this message when I open
certain crucial docs: "The 'TektoMM_503 BD 850 EX' Font is not available."

I've asked people in the dept. that produced these docs to give me a copy of
everything that resides in their own Fonts folders; I've restored my entire
backed-up Fonts folder; I've worked with Adobe Type Manager to properly
bring in all fonts; I've also imported all fonts the way Win 2000 wants it
done; and I've scoured the Web, searching for help. But this problem
persists. I have a valid license to the font. Does anyone have any advice
for me? I think it's Win 2000's fault, or else fonts and/or their associated
files get corrupted when transferred via network.

Thanks very much,

Beth Kane
