I have taken two UC Berkeley Extension Online classes: one in database design,
and another in the Java programming language. They were both great classes, and
I learned a lot from them. I found out how much of a procrastinator I can be,
though, and ended up extending the first one (for a modest $50 fee) once, and
the second one twice! Eek. Not all classes will let you extend a second
time...the second extension was only for 2 weeks.

The Java language class has helped me immensely. It is with that knowledge that
I have been able to develop JavaServer Page-based web sites and web
applications.
