Subject:Bad Word Text Boxes From:"David Boss" <bosscomm -at- on -dot- aibn -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Thu, 31 Jan 2002 14:11:31 -0500
I just solved a similar problem with a screen shot that had a series of
graphic circles with text boxes containing numbers on top. I could ungroup
the elements and delete the screen shot but crashed Word every time I tried
to delete the numbers. I eventually found that the text boxes had somehow
become linked to other boxes (maybe during copying and pasting?) and once I
broke the links (right click on the box and select Break Text Box Link) I
could get rid of them without a problem.
