Well, I'm an occasional MS Project user (it's great for projects that span
multiple departments and/or in cases where one must light a fire under
recalcitrant SMEs' behinds.) But, for simpler projects where I just want a
seat-of-the-pants project plan and tracking mechanism, an Excel spreadsheet
usually works just fine.
