A bit mathmatical maybe, but all good test procedures should test all
'turning points' in the curve. Any extreme data that can be valid must be
used. For example, for a field that accepts an integer, test inputs should
include a 0, the most negative integer and the most positive integer, as
well as a completely invalid datatype.
For a field that will be used in a SIN function, 0, Pi/2 and Pi would be
acceptable.

Recently, I landed a project doing some test scripts/ test specifications
for a piece of software.
For the first part of the project, I will be working with a set of
incomplete test specifications prepared by others, and will need to ensure
they meet client requirements.
Has anybody in this list serve done similar projects? And do you have any
suggestions, tips, or warnings? What things worked well. What things would
you do differently. What problems could be avoided and what would you do to
avoid them?
