Nope. Locking the Aspect Ratio means that the picture can't be stretched in
any particular direction, the ratio of its sides will remain constant.
Relative to original picture size modifies the % boxes to change the
pictures size based on current size or absolute size. Additionally, as your
printer has a different resolution to the screen, printing a
non-resampled-on-the-screen-view picture will resample it for the printer

Could you tell me if selecting Lock Aspect Ratio and Relative to original
picture size in the Format Object dialog box in Word has the result of not
adding to file size (or resampling)? As was explained to me: the number of
pixels will not change but only the size of the image?
I have the Barnes and Noble Photoshop class coming up next week and a
beginning graphics class at continuing ed in two weeks. I should be less
bothersome on this whole graphics thing in no time at all.
