Patience, grasshopper. :)
Riding a bike is hard at first, and very frustrating. But once you learn
how, it's faster than walking. Most of us make that leap - I haven't met
any grownups who gripe about a bicycle being a stupid, non-intuitive
contraption. Because they took the time to learn how to ride one.
Word is a tool. It works. Learn how, and it will work for you.
Think back -were you able to create a full-featured document the first
time you used Frame? Or did you actually have to LEARN how Frame works? I
know LOTS of tech writers who shelled out hundreds of dollars (sometimes
their company's dollars) for training on Frame. Yet I don't know anybody
who's had official Word training. How about you - have you spent $20 on a
good Word book? It might be a worthwhile investment....
Hang in there!
- Keith Cronin
