As a relative youngster, I'm finding this thread fascinating, if depressing.
We're all familiar with the new tech writer's Catch-22 - can't get a
job w/out experience, can't get experience w/out a job.
Apparently ten, twenty years from now when those my age are really
qualified for those Senior Tech Writer gigs, there's going to be
another Catch-22 - have to be old enough to *be* senior but heaven
help you if you look it?
How delightful. I seriously thought we'd come farther than this
already, but apparently I've been overly optimistic.
