Re: Single Sourcing With RoboHELP
I see that RoboHELP includes a single sourcing feature that >purportedly allows you to create printed docs from the various RoboHELP files.
I'm wondering if anybody has anybody has had success with this method >or if there is a better way to go.
Success? Not really. Perhaps the latest version of RoboHelp is better at single sourcing than version 9.0 was.
My final solution at my former job was to write concurrent versions of my documents in RoboHelp and Word. I used RoboHelp to spit out a word document, formatted it as I wanted it to look in the printed version, then just updated both files at the same time. Lousy solution, but my company was in no position to purchase FrameMaker.
