Hi Everyone--

This is not really a technical writing question but I'm sure stumped and
hope at least one of you have the technical expertise to answer.

Here's the info:

We're running on Windows NT 4.0 Terminal Server Addition with Citrix.

We use both WordPerfect and Word with WordPerfect as the software for
our manuals.

Here's the problem:

Each time we change to a different printer (and we have a couple of
different ones in the building), our documents auto reformat, which causes
strange contortions and extra pages to be inserted.

Now we want to put all the docs on our web site as PDF files. We can't seem
to get Distiller installed on the network as a printer so we have gone to
plan B. We installed a PS print driver to create PostScript files. The PS
print driver belongs to the printer that all the docs are formatted to but
the docs still reformat when we change back and forth between drivers. Can
anyone help?????? I'm getting a little desperate here!

Does anyone have a workaround? Is the solution to install Distiller on my
local drive? Will the docs quit floating on the page if we pull them
directly into Distiller? I'm new to all this stuff and going down for the
last glub. . . .

Thanks so much for any help or insights you may have.

Helen Tuttle
