Eva, IIRC, you should be able to right-click the Word-generated image in the
document, and choose to edit its properties. I don't have Word 97 or I'd
give you the step-by-step, but I believe it's the same multi-tabbed dialog
as in Word 2000: one of the tabs lets you change the image so it's no longer
anchored, and that activates the word wrap buttons which are grayed out when
the image is anchored. Then the image would be inline with text, as your
jpgs are.
