I was dismayed (though not particularly surprised) to discover that Acrobat's web capture feature fails to preserve some layout that's done with CSS positioning rather than tables. It gets other CSS features, like font size and color, so it's not just failing to pick up the style sheet.

Acrobat 4 and 5 (and earlier?) include a web capture feature that can make a single PDF from an entire web site--depending on the site's organization, it can be a pretty neat thing.

Of course, you could use it on a single HTML file, too.
