Subject:translation companies - SDL? From:Wrdfinesse -at- aol -dot- com To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Thu, 31 Jan 2002 22:37:54 EST
Has anyone used SDL International (http://www.sdlintl.com/) for translations of their products and/or documents?
I ask because my company is in the midst of a VERY ugly situation with this company - incomplete translations, and what is there is both inconsistent with the source and inaccurate in many respects. We suspect what they did is simply run our stuff through a machine translation and then not do any checking or cleanup.
On a related note - anyone have any technical translation firms to recommend? We'll be changing vendors as soon as possible after our current release.
