Diya:

My last round of interviews was for a job that I applied for in February. I
had a phone interview in late March, and my first in-person interview was in
early April. They are still interviewing, to my knowledge. I interviewed for
another position for a large corporation, and they said that the process
never happens faster than 3-4 weeks for them. I was asked to submit my
resume for a contract position, and a month later they haven't put it on the
front burner.

All I'm saying is, be prepared for the process to take a long time. Better
to interview early and ask them to wait for you then to wait too long.

And no, I would never recommend you bail out of a contract early, especially
one that short. Keep in mind, it is a contract. I don't know what the
ramifications would be of you leaving early, but don't count on using them
as a reference.

Kevin
