Actually, I found Goobers comments appropriate. I disagree with the
Adobe reading of the EULA that you were given, fwiw. I don't find it
matters what employees A and B of Adobe believe, what matters is what
the Adobe lawyers represent when they call you to court. Until then, it
is really all a matter of what personal interpretation and spin you
choose to put on the written EULA; or not (verbatim, what does it say,
does it address your situation, if not, can you get Adobe's position in
writing from their legal dept.?) Nevertheless, Goober wasn't out of
line, and I applaud you for calling Adobe.
As a tech writer, I've worked for a companies that took a variety of
spins on licensing, from very, very liberal to conservative. I'm glad to
see, on list, we are all concerned with this issue.
