Keyboard only, whenever possible. I even have a lightweight portable word
processor called an AlphaSmart on which I write the sort of notes, lists,
and memos most people would scribble on scraps of paper.
Despite years of effort, I am incapable of writing legibly, and find the
act of writing physically uncomfortable. I'm not sure if I have a
disability per se - when I was growing up, one needed to be unable to
walk and/or see to qualify for such categorization (back when I walked 40
miles to school each day, barefoot in the snow, uphill both ways)<g>. I got
consistently bad grades in penmanship (perpersonship?), and finally had my
legal signature changed to printed block letters.
However, I have collected both pens and mechanical pencils, and I think
they're neato. Just wish I could *use* the darn things!

pencil
