My biggest problems with Word are:
1. "Assumed formatting" and other instances of Word doing what it thinks the
user wants--such as a numbered list or indent that does not keep its
original setting (for example, you set the list to start at one, but it
keeps connecting itself to a previous list).
2. No way to remove default styles from a document or template permanently
(The Style Organizer doesn't seem to allow this, but if anyone knows of a
way please let me know).
3. General instability of the application (especially as the file gets
larger) and the tendency toward file bloat.
4. The officious "Paper Clip" that still pops up to ask if I need help
whenever I'm writing a letter. :)
