Gary Clark says one reason companies stick w/ Word is
"... that they all already know Word and how to use it."
Which would be an acceptable reason to use/sick with
Word, if it were true. However, most Word users know just
enough about Word to cause no end of grief - they know
how to apply manual formatting, how to use para spacing
to adjust page breaking (ugh!), how to insert huge images,
and generally how to screw up a document so that it takes
hours of work to clean up.
If I had a dollar for every idiot who thinks he knows how
to use Word because he can make a document 'look' like he
wants it to...

(Who found some paras this morning that someone had
manually adjusted to have 48 POINT BEFORE SPACING! - Yes,
I'm yelling :-> )
Have something to say, and say it as clearly as you can.
That is the only secret of style. -- Matthew Arnold
