I'm editing a db schema doc with a series of tables that
provide the attributes, data types, etc. of actual tables
in the database - about 100 tables, all told.
The tables were created by someone else and the column
widths appear to be "locked." Opening the table
properties, I can clear the "fixed width" checkboxes in
the column and cell tabs, but for some reason it isn't
getting "applied." When I re-open the table properties
dialog, the boxes are checked again.
Grrr.
Any thoughts? The doc is due out this afternoon, and I
still have about 40 tables to clean up. Doc's about 200
pages, Word 2000 on Win 2000, if that matters.

Have something to say, and say it as clearly as you can.
