Word can be very awkward to use. True....With
training, you can become an expert. But some
frequently used features are still difficult, if not
odd. For example, a TOC referencing several documents
can be fairly problematic.
Yes, all you have to do is enter field codes. But the
questions should be: Why do you have to enter field
codes? Why can't you just select the documents for the
TOC and click OK? WHy do I have to memorize field code
formats?
Word is easy to use if you just need to type a letter
or memo; if you are doing more complex work, you need
to do a lot of workarounds and sometimes put in extra
effort for simple tasks.
