Subject:screen capture conversion woes- FrameMaker to PDF From:AdaBuchanan -at- cs -dot- com To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Tue, 28 May 2002 17:11:45 EDT
Can anyone help me with the following Acrobat problem?
I'm converting a Frame file to PDF, and I'm having problems with the color
conversion. The color that I created using the FrameMaker color palette are
showing up fine in the PDF, but the screen captures are coming out gray. I've
tried the following:
*Saving as PDF.
*Using different job options (Screen Optimized, Print Optimized, Press
Optimized).
*Within the different job options I've tried tinkering with the DPI levels.
I also tried printing to the Adobe PDF Writer printer, and when I do that,
the color is restored but the dimensions of the screen captures are
distorted.
Does anyone have any thoughts? I looked through the archives but found
nothing to help me fix this.
thanks!
