Re: Style to Style on a Friday afternoon.
I am trying to convert one style in Word to another...and its just not
helping me out.
Why can't I just select the text and convert from one style to another?
It is your need to select the text before you
assign the style that's hanging you up, Justin.
Word is very picky about selected text -- select
a single column to sort just that column and
leave the rest alone, select a single paragraph
to print out just that and nothing else, select
a single phrase to spellcheck just those words...
So when you isolate the text to be styled, only
the selection gets styled -- and if you're trying
to apply a paragraph style, ... ;-)
To change one paragraph style to another, position
the cursor in the paragraph without selecting any
portion of the text (or select the *whole* paragraph),
the apply the style.
