Subject:Style to Style on a Friday afternoon. From:"Justin Ressler" <JRessler -at- ewa-denver -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Fri, 31 May 2002 14:22:14 -0600
I am trying to convert one style in Word to another...and its just not
helping me out.
Why can't I just select the text and convert from one style to another?
It seems I have to convert the text to normal, which sometimes works on some
of the text, but never seems to work on all of the text. Then, and only
then, can I convert from one "user defined" style to another "user defined"
style.
Is this something someone else has run into, or am I flying solo on this
one?
Granted, this is taking place in a User defined Numbered List, with several
other styles within it, so it is not one of Word's more popular areas, but
still...what's with using Normal as a middle man?
I am being very careful as to what I select (only the word, not spaces
between or para marks or anything) both when I assign the style, and when I
try to reassign to a different style.
Really, I am just curious to see if anyone knows what I am talking about, I
don't NEED a fix.
Have a good weekend all...
