I can see several problems from your situation, if I understand it
correctly. Different versions, being one situation. Also, if you're trying
to create a consistency how do you control if one vendor changes the style
by themself (even if it's accidentally)? My opinion, and it's a humble one,
why not create a style sheet so to speak where you clearly define the
formatting, as you did in your example.
