Can you create binary Framemaker files with something besides Framemaker? I don't think so.
If I'm right, and the client demands native Framemaker files, then you've got to use Framemaker at some point, which is all I've been saying...along with the fact that doing so doesn't make you an employee.
(By the way, that's why the subject line is still accurate.)
HTML Indexer 4 is still the easiest way to create and maintain indexes
for web sites, intranets, HTML Help, JavaHelp, and other HTML documents.
Now with fully integrated cross-references, target frames and windows,
multiple-file output, "one-step accept" of default entries, and more!
